North Berwick is a town some 25 miles north east of Edinburgh on the south side of the Firth of Forth. It has long been a popular holiday location, but has also been a fishing port and a step on the pilgrimage route to St Andrews in Fife, pilgrims crossing to Earlsferry by boat. A popular location for sailing and golf and the shore base for sails round the Bass Rock, one of the largest gannetries in the northern hemisphere, North Berwick boasts two superb beaches on either side of the harbour.

The collection point for the beach wheelchairs is The Beach Hut North Berwick Harbour EH39 4JL. Follow Victoria Road to the harbour through the black double gates on the right. You will see the blue and white Beach Hut a few yards ahead of you.

Please note parking can be very difficult in the summer months. There are 2 disabled bays near the harbour and several in front of the Seabird Scottish Seabird Centre.  You should allow plenty of time for parking.
